AoS Aos Firestorm Campaign

I've lurked on this site for a long time and now decided to sign up!

So I've finally started painting up my lizardmen/seraphon that I've had for years. It's a real passion project for me as I've always loved lizardmen but never had the time to get into playing them. A group of mates decided to start a Firestorm Campaign so I thought this is it, time to get scaley.

The List: 1000pts

Heroes:
Slaan Starseer
- General
- Great Rememberer

Saurus Eternity Warden
- Blade of Realities

Astrolith Bearer

Skink Priest
- Priestley Trapings

Battleline

5 Saurus Guard
10 Saurus Guard

The plan for this army is to spend the first turn and a half banking summoning points the as the enemies get closer start with the magic, taking the saurus guard near the hero will buff there defense making them handle more.

The only thing I can't do is shrug off mortal wounds.

Any critique or comment would be greatly appreciated!

The other armies are Ogor Gutbusters, Chaos undevided and Skaven.

Hard to tell, you already mentioned the main vulnerability of your list yourself.
It depends a lot on what exactly the other guys will bring, but I think it can work.

I've got a Scar vet on Carnosaur, 2 X 10 saurus and a sunblood to further buff my Saurus units. So it depends what's needed and when.

I know the ogor player will be running leadbelchers, Iron guts and the alternate build for the scraplauncher.
