AoS Age of sigmar core book

Hello everyone,

I just started playing again and I saw they have added two new books, ghb2018 and a new core book. I was wondering if the ghb2018 is enough or if the core book is key to play age of sigmar 2.0.

I think that ghb2018 is enough. The core rules can be find on the site.
But the core book contain nice fluff to read, but it is not necessary to play.

I asked this question on Reddit and the one response suggested that the core book was necessary. It was not. That is an entire model I could have got instead.

GHB is sufficient with the online rules that Koriialstraz mentions.

You do need to know the rules that are in the Core Rule book, but you do not need to buy the book to learn them. The rule section is available as a PDF from GW: https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/AoS2-Core-Rules-PDF-epub-ENG.

I would still buy the book because it is full of awesome fluff, photos of nicely painted models, and a large amount of battle plans.
