Guys, I'm afraid this is some shameless advertising so I hope you don't mind.

Below is a completely new Warhammer army list including all characters, magic, items and all the usual rank and file. I'm looking for playtesters and feedback. Let me know what you think.

Pretty cool stuff there, a lot to read over and I like the reaper pics :) what I read sounds neat but you may have to weaken some things to make them more balanced, maybe even give less options to somethings. But play testing will show that. Maybe I'll sit down and read it one day in the far future. Like I said though looks like a neat army.

Thanks very much.

I have a few people contributing right now and lots of tweaks going in over the next few days. I will probably draw a line in the sand in a couple of weeks, make a pdf for download by anyone who wants to play it and then leave it for a few months of playtesting. That will give me a chance to write some fluff for the final version.

I think getting a draft pdf online for Christmas will be my next goal so people can read it at their leisure - that means on the toilet or in bed as far as I'm concerned :)

thanks for the support,
Sigmar

Sounds good to me...:)

a new Nautican army emerges from the Oceans (draft 3.0). Behold, the Nauticans !

NAUTICANS_ARMY_COVER_COLOUR_NO_WARHAMMER_LOGO.jpg

The Nautican Army has been updated to draft 3.0 (see link in my signature), main changes:-

  • - new Army Wide Special "Sea Creature Origins" rule
    - new units (Interceptors, Coral Hunters, Crest Riders, Tripoon)
    - new special character (Vortex) + other character tweaks
    - new character "mounts" (Royal Chariot, The Eternal Wave, The Great White Titan)
    - tweaks to existing magic and several new magic items
    - removal of undead mariners & undead characters

Current status : working on background fluff, sourcing suitable models and a draft 3.0 pdf.

We could really use some help playtesting. If you're interested then just play a game and send me the feedback (or even better a battle report which we can publish on the Nautican site).

Note: the Nautican Army is completely unofficial and not endorsed by Games Workshop, it is however great fun fielding this army in Warhammer Fantasy Battles !

PS. This project is absolutely not for profit, it's just great fun ! Once the Warhammer Community agrees we have a nice balanced army it will be turned into a free pdf download for anyone who wants to try it out.

I've actually looked at this recently, it's looking very good. I am actually building a Native Fantasy Army of my own that I will run buy you when it gets closer to finished. (Need a better name too LOL)

Mmm I have seen the site at various stages, looks pretty interesting. And great working getting so far, it takes soooo much effort making a balanced new army from scratch.

I created an army from scratch. it is hard work and i respect you for it. great job!
