AoS A birthday noob

Hey everybody,

Preface: I've never played Sigmar or Warhammer before but have been around other tabletops.

My birthday was yesterday and I received a SC: Skink box, a SC: Saurus box, and the equivalent of another SC: Saurus box with extra models thrown in from my friend group (extra bastilodon, some basic skinks and saurus warriors, an astrolith bearer, and a Oldblood on foot). The plan is to teach me how to play on Sunday and they asked me to come up with a 1250pt list using the above. From what I've read in the battletome, coalesced sound good? Any tips, tricks, or pointers? I'd even take a flat out list that I could tweak.

Thanks for the suggestions, it looks like you run a great community here and I can't wait to contribute! I think I'll opt for the Sunblood for the extra wound/MW chances from what I'm seeing in the tome.
