7th Ed. 6th or 7th?

How do you know if it is the 6th or 7th edition models for sale on games-workshop? Perhaps they doesn't sell 6th at all anymore. I just want to make sure I don't buy the old models by mistake.
 
anything on the GW website will be the newer models.
anything you buy elsewhere may not be
 
Search around and buy whatever models you like best. Some people prefer the older versions of some models.
 
May I ask if every 7th edition of the lizardmen is released or if more units are upcoming?
 
GW are being very cagey with their release schedule lately, it is really impossible to know if anything new will come soon. I suspect we will be a fairly low priority since we have a pretty cool range of models at the moment, only the cold ones are a bit ugly.

Yeah the only things that came out for 7th ed were stegadon, kroxigors, temple guard, couple of characters, terradons and the razordon. I think thats it. The rest are 6th or earlier.
 
I agree our Cold Ones look like Barney.
The sixth edition ones were absolutely terrible though.

I believe the salamanders are new 7th edition figs, in that the army set that came out in 04-05 had different sallies than those modeled today.

And to be honest, GW is working on the Tyranids right now. I noticed that they took the gaunts boxset off the games-workshop online store, and I received an email confirming that they are going through remodeling figures and box styles especially for those figures, possibly others.

Not to mention they just wrapped up beastmen for warhammer fantasy line.

They just look really cool for 6th ed figs that's all!

I don't think we'll be getting any new mini's any time soon as GW seem to have decided that the only armies that deserve models being released when it's not a new edition are Space Orks and Empire!!

I mean why Empire? It's not like their the true children of the gods are the sworn enemies of the true children of the gods, there just MEN!!!! for gods sake.
