I personally would go with at least one unit of skirmishing skinks. They are great at shooting down high toughness units and those poison throws are golden! But unless your absolutely apposed then that's your call.

I'd probably drop one of the priests and put the other to level 1, give him a scroll. Drop the Champ on your saurus and use the combined saved points to buy a Scar Vet for your general and give him some cheap magic items.

I totally agree. Shooting at 500 points is BRUTALLY effective due to smaller unit sizes and more forced panic tests. At this size you can just run around units shooting them all day and there is very little they can do about it since they have very little support.
