I have a habit of building competitive lists and, well, I think I went overboard.
Constellation
Starborne
Leaders
Lord Kroak - Stellar Tempest
Battleline
10 Skinks - Boltspitters and Starbucklers
10 Skinks - Boltspitters and Starbucklers
Endless Spells
Balewind Vortex
Suffocating Gravetide
Command Points: 1
Points Total: 500/500
I love the simplicity of the list but bringing Lord Kroak into such a small points game feels... well a little wrong. Starborne can get one of those skink units onto an objective basically turn one via Masters of Time and Space. The other unit sticks with Kroak as his guard/screen while Kroak gets up on his Balewind Vortex then rains down hell in the form of Comet's Call, Stellar Tempest, and can safely give up one of his 4 castings per turn for extra summoning points. Summoning a unit of 10 skinks is just 6 points which he can then slingshot anywhere on the field he needs them.
I really don't know the meta of the group I'm joining so should I avoid this list to not be "That guy"?
