8th Ed. 3000 vs Dwarves or WoC, Noob needs help!!

I am currently painting this list. I plan on using Lore of Light to buff my Saurus.
I am going to run 4 blocks of saurus up front. The Slann will be behind. He can bounce spells off the Skink Priest, so LOS won't be an issue. I will run the spears in the middle and the hw/shields on the corners. The cameleons, skirmishers, and salamanders will deploy based on the enemy. The EOTG will deploy last. I want to be smart, but suicidal with all skink units, then pound away with my Saurus.

Nice looking list, the EoTG might be useful vs WoC but it will probably be very vulnerable vs the dwarf army. Other then that, I like the list, its pretty standard and solid.

If you are playing a gunline dwarf army then sun standard is a fantastic buy for that picked on unit (aka TG!). WoC are the only army I have trouble with. But with light normally you should be ok. What does your opposition like to play? Do you have a sample lists of their armys (just general units etc) so we can help more.

However your army does look pretty solid, those camos will annoy any warmachine crew or wizard bunker with 2x8!
