OK so i have just got into fantasy and this is what i want too play in an upcoming tournament for a free battle box its free too enter as well

Too many wizards IMO, you'll never have the PD to get their full value. I would drop the 2nd slann and take more troops (Krox or Skrox are both excellent choices) or a tooled out old blood. Since magic doesn't scale well at higher points I wouldn't take more than one slann and one regular skink priest as a scroll caddy.

Chakax (like all of our special characters) is too expensive for what he actually brings to the table, you can take two tooled-out scar vets instead and still have points left over.

I'm not a fan of the EOTG in 8th, the priest is too easy to kill with the changes to templates. I would put the priest on foot and trade the engine for a second ancient steg.

You don't have any war machine hunters; you might want add a couple of units of chameleon skinks (my favorite) or some terradons.

More salamanders might be nice too.

i like the eotg the few games that i have played with it is great killed lots of dwarf's but if i cut a slann which one should i play i like life with the tg an undying unit with bringing back the dead but death givs me lots of dice ( for how i roll ) when i kill stuff. also what should i tool out an old blood with if i replace a slann with him?

I'm surprised you like EOTG against dwarfs, cannons are super deadly against it now that they hit every model.

Keep the Life Slann. Death only really shines against Dwarfs, Ogres, and other LM.

For an old blood I'd probably go something like: Armor of Destiny, Shield, Ogre Blade, Luckstone
5 S7 attacks, 1+ AS (reroll first failed) , 4+ ward for 246 points. In fact, trade Chakax out for this guy, he's much better and almost 100 points cheaper (which will buy you some chameleon skinks).

With the savings from the dropping the death slann you can beef out your two saurus units to 29 and put a scar vet in each (run them 6x5).

i do like chameleons took down 4 ogres before they died in a game one time
