8th Ed. 2k Test Army

So my first 30 or so games have gone very well with my 2500 list (along the lines of 23-4-3). My buddy is building up his second army (WoC) and wants to test it out, he's got around 2k and has asked me to match him. This will be the start of my lore of light trial period. As always, I'm trying to go for an all-comers build. Thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

Slann-- BSB, Rumination, Mystery (Light), Cogitation, Cupped Hands, std of Discipline (my standard Slann build with light instead of life)

Skink Priest-- Lvl 1, Cube of Darkness (my new favorite scroll caddy)

25 Saurus-- std/mus, spears

22+ 2 Skrox-- std/mus

10 Skink skirmishers (priest here)

16 Temple Guard-- FC (Slann here)

7 Chameleon skinks

It did fairly well. Using Light means I get to be a bit more aggressive in how I play, which I love. I'll probably be sticking with it for the foreseeable future until I get a good sampling of it vs various armies.
