8th Ed. 2k game against Ogres

This is a 2k game against ogres hopefull i will do better then i did against the skaven!
i have done 2 lists i am not sure wich i will take atm see wich u guys like best i guess the slann list is safer then the oldblood list but im always useing slann so i wanted to mix it up a bit

You have a few character issues there...
First, your Scar Vet with the Piranha Blade has 65 pts of magic items: Piranha Blade (35) + Bane Head (15) + Enchanted Shield (15...as listed in our army book, which takes precedence over the BRB).
Second, the Venom only affects mundane weapons, meaning it has no effect on the Sword of Strife.
Lastly, the Oldblood is a solid, survivable build (VERY survivable in CC), but that makes the Carnosaur into an even juicier target. There is no reason for your enemy to not focus every attack in the first round of combat on the dino, taking him out of action before his 210 pts come into play at all...that's an expensive meat shield.

The rest looks ok, but I'll leave that for others who have experience playing Ogres.

so i cant use the enchanted shield from the normal rule book because of having one in common magic items? >< lol dunno what to do about the carno maby i shld take a cold one instead its cheap i lose a few attacks but it means i will have a few points to play with , ill swap the poison on the scar vet and the sheild i thought it was 5 points

well i swaped the poison out for dragon helm
and got rid of the shield

getin rid of the carno and swapping it for a cold one gave me an extra 200+ points to play with so iv added extra 15x sarus Full command second unit i could do 2 units of 25 or leave it 30 and 15
