8th Ed. 2500, Second Attempt!

First army was magic heavy, I learned lots from it. It brought three wins and one loss. My largest lesson was that magic is heavily constrained by dice rolls, so don't go crazy adding priests like they're psychers. My second best lesson was it sucks having one large unit, it's better to have several smaller units for mobility. Lizardmen are hard as a rock, so go with it.

With this list I heavily buffed my all stars, the temple guard and salamanders. I got rid of what I felt was superfluous, and I cried a little when I realized there was no room for my stegadons. =(

I added some cavalry for a mobile spank unit, and kept the sweet sweet kroxigors to be used explicitly as a counter-charge unit.

I'd have things set up pretty symmetrically around the slann block with the skinks screening, the salamanders pot shotting behind them, and the calvary either running defense on the flank, or running screw you on the enemy flank.

Its a good list m8 personally i would have the slann with becqlning cog rumination and higher state
As for temple guard i generally do the oposit i have 30 in horde formation loads of s5 hits and then maybe have slann lore of light for bionas timewarp spell so in cc tg get 46 attacks !!! and maybe with banner scrap the the rlaming attacks and go for a banner like the razor stndrd or banner of swiftness
As for the templeguard champ maybe giive him the terifying mask of eee or the ruby ring of rhuin for the bound spell u also will want a dispell scroll som where
