What do you think of the following?

Lords: 620 pts

Slann +2 dice with staff, Wandering

OB on CO, 1+ as, talisman of 4++, OTS, GW


Heroes: 613 pts

Skink priest lvl 2 beast, dispel scroll

SV on CO, BSB, 1+ as, armor of destiny 4++, GW

SV on CO, 1+ as, piranha blade

SV on CO, 1+ as, Armor of fortune 5++, seed of rebirth 6+ reg.


Core: 630 pts

20 Skink cohort + full command (slanns unit)

10 skink cohort + mus + 1 krox (for ld 7 and some extra punch)

10 skink cohort + mus + 1 krox (for ld 7 and some extra punch)

4*10 skirmishers. javelin

Special: 636 pts

10 cold one riders. HW

2*6 chamo skinks

1 bastiladon with laser


total 2499 pts, swecomp 9,7

The slann goes into the big skink unit.

Priest into one of the skirmishers

CO characters and riders into a bus

Hmmm...
not sure if you are going to have enough Magic dice for the WD Slann, Priest, and Blastidon.

Agreed... The basti is just a cannon magnet anyway. Throw in some more chaff. Maybe skirmishers this time so you get some poisoned attacks. That's two more units and maybe some extra wargear. Best of luck!

Noticed that I had forgotten to write down the 4*10 skirmisher units. I had also given the priest heavens, another mistake in a list like this it will be beast of course, to double buff the bus.

About the priest, the only time he will cast is when i wanna try to get of double wyssans. His main job is to be a vassal.

The basti, I like him because he gives me another damage spell. But you are right about the cannon magnet thing. I was hesitant to bring him but i didn't know what else to take without the comp getting even lower.

I have two units of rippers (which have never worked for me ) But maybe i could give them a try.

Suggestions?

I like it.

2 things though... one scarvet has the 6+ regen and 5++. You can only use one so drop the regen.

Drop the Bastilidon and use points saved with regen to buy 2 sallies. I you don't like sallies then you can always remove the kroxigor from the skink units and add them all together to have 5-6 of them for an additional hammer.

Something to consider... see if you can somehow make space for tetto. He will give your bus vanguard and boost your Slann's magic greatly.

You are right about the reg save. I thought it was faqed that you could use both, but after some googling about it I see that people in general says its only one that can be used. Thanks.

There is no way that I can fit in tetto and still have a decent bus and trying to keep the comp high. Tetto is 40 points if I don't remember wrong. But you are right, the vanguard would be very nice. The thing to do then would be to drop the slann and replace him with tetto.

If i remove the krox from the cohorts I will have to fill up another one hundred points of core skinks. And i am not sure that i want more then that. Already enough of them to handle for me.

2 sallies. Maybe that could work.

They always misfire for me. Last game was extreme. Got of one shoot that hit in the whole game. Had a unit of 2 and they ate all of their handlers. Was lucky to throw a six on the monster reaction tho.

What do you think about terradons? If bringing them, should it be with jav or bolas?

If you drop your slann then you are moving into a whole new type of list... First play test the current one I think.

I'd run two single units of sallies. Sometimes they are hungry, sometimes they rock... Too good against T3 to pass up though...

I've played Terradons as redirectors for my bus. Was average for 100 points and now I just use small units of chamo skinks. Cheaper and I have the option of warmachine or monster hunting. I don't know though, some people swear by them, in my meta they don't really work.

I'm stuck between 2 lists now... Basically different versions of this but I will post my own thread.
