7th Ed. 2500 copetitive (but still not cheesy)

i have this tournament thing going for a couple of weeks at 2500 pts each game. i'll probably face dark elves, skaven and maybe brettonia and 2x empire. the skaven player might try to be a bit cheesy but i'm sure the DE won't (he might bring a dragon + hydra, but thats it)
so here goes the list:

Slann: 3 Disciplines (Mystery, Rumination, Cogitation), Bane Head, Cupped Hands, Dispell Scroll

Scar Vet: CO, LA, BSB, BBoC, ES

Priest: Lvl 2, EotG, Plaque of Tepok, Dispell Scroll

Priest: Lvl 2, Cloak of Feathers, Diadem of Power

2x 15 Saurus: Standard, Musician, Spear

2x 10 Skinks skirmishers

1x 5 COC: Standard, Musician

1x 16 TG: FC, Sword of Hornet

1x 3 Terradons

2x 1 Salamander

exactly 2500 pts. i could swap the diadem and the sword of hornet for a rod of storm and a BSoS to have 2 bound spells but i'd be losing some magic defense (gaining ofense and the ASF for the TG wich would help them survive a little bit).

i chose not to add a banner to the TG as i'm not worried by shooting, the plaque of dominion is too expensive for its short range, i don't want to break enemy units with my anvil so both the warbanner and the jaguar standard are out of the question... not to mention the lack of points

Sword of the hornet for the revered guardian in the tg seems like a waste of points. You are paying 25pts to gain asf for a single wound model which at the same time makes his save worse. The revered guardian himself is a waste since your slann can't be challenged in the tg unit anyways. Just my thoughts

at 23 pts a model i'd gladly pay the extra points to get some attacks before the chargers, its not a uni i can afford to waste, and even with stubborn and cold blooded Ld 8 i'd rather keep the unit alive a bit longer

i like the list but i still dont think the flying 150 point skink is worth it, i dont like magic so i play with old bloods so i dont know how useful it is to cast spells through it but if you fly him around he is going to probably be shot down. i also dont find teh extra spell that useful for 25 points.

the extra spell only costs 15 pts, and the flying priest is great, its as if ur slann is everywhere he wants to be, basicly gives u a 48 inch range on ur magic missiles. Also he would be very useless in an old blood list, but he is great in a slann list.
