7th Ed. 2500 8th Edition Saurus Big Centre - returning to WHFB

hey all, I'm just getting back into warhammer, please advise me on the list below. The idea being that the Slann sits BEHIND all main saurus centres with lore of Life, giving them extra toughness and healing their ranks etc. while the salamanders are in between with the stegs and krox on the flanks to support, prevent flanking. skirms run around supporting and firing at war machines and monsters (specially chamos) and one priest stays in with them.

The only other thought I had as an alternate to the below list is to remove the krox all together, as well as one unit of skinks and one salamander and add in 2 more stegadons for a fun stegadon party in the middle - which do you think would be more tactful/damaging?


Slann - BSB, Focus of Mystery (all spells one lore), Focused Rumination (+1 power die)

Looks like a pretty solid setup. Though for buffing I would say put the toughness on the kroxigors, people will be very afraid of those guys getting into combat and will probably keep pumping shots into them. But they'll put out tons of attacks to be sure.
