Any spare points?

What kind of steg?

And did you/do you have an opponent army/ or armies in mind when making this list?

Just a regular stegadon; only 1 point leftover. No I don't have specific opponents in mind; looking at it for a tournament so kind of an all comers. Its pretty combat oriented though.

I don't have the greatest amount of experience, though that said I have been around the game for a long time......so here's my opinion....

A solid core, good flanking units, terradons + chief/krox + skink
I'm not so sure about razordons, I personally have decided to forego them, I prefer the salamanders as their fire works against lots of low T and fire opponents (elves and what have you) but whatever works for you

I would however watch out for magic-heavy armies, people tend to go against LM with magic in mind so the single priest may be your down fall.

I'd recommend getting rid of the standard on the skrox squad since ideally that should be flanking and so the rank bonus and such should swing the CR your way.
All depends on how you plan to use your army.
An idea may be to bump something in exchange for another priest somewhere...but hey I'm just throwing ideas around here...

Oh heck... Just got home and looked at my book. The Army Builder file I have is way off. I'll have to go see if I have a new one. Although as a bonus I should have like an extra 200ish points to play with now.

As was already mentioned, you will probably run into problems when it comes to the magic phase.
Having an oldblood as the lord and no EotG makes this a combat oriented list. With only 4 power dice, you aren't going to be doing much casting and taking the plaque of tepok really isn't helping with this. In order to make your army more effective in magic defense, I would suggest you drop the plaque of tepok and take the diadem of power. Against armies where you need all the dispel dice you can get, this upgrade will boost your dispel dice to 5 for only 10 points.
Hopefully with just this one wizard you can take on the casting power of most armies. Only when you face off against a magic heavy army will you have problems

Cheers and goold luck

Where is the fourth hero? I think that one saurus BSB is not to be thrown away.

Here is some tip how to good use spear Sauruses: Get a nice, big unit of saurus warriors(19 of them),
and give them a spears. Then buy saurus scar veteran and give him BSB and Sword of the hornet.

Soo, when enemy charges urs unit, urs Scar Veteran will struck first and kill 3/4 enemy models. Soo ur enemy will only atack with 1/2 of his models. Then ur saurus shoud get max of 1 casulty. Then heres when
fun begines; u have 16/18 attacks from ur saurus with str. of 4 (count second rank of spears).

And u have probably 9/11 kills (3/4 Scar Veteran, and 6/7 Sauruses),standard barear, and BSB.

Worked to me in 99.9% (this 0.01% is when i got Vampire Blood Knights in that unit :smug: )

Hope i helped.

Guys sword of the Hornet + Scar vet Bsb has been a Combo that has been used for about 6 years..... :)
Not overly sneaky but very very effective.

It is paticulary useful vs things like Dryads and Wardancers who would normaly tear apart a unit of saurus or give your character a scare with KB the fact its only strength 5 makes it less effective vs Cav and heavily armoured foes. And thats why I prefer now to give my Scarvet a good Armour save and then give him the flaming blade of Chotec -4 armour save makes dealng with cav and heavily armoured foes much easier (Chaos warriors ) + it gives me an option to almost auto kill treemen and Khemri Mummy Lords.

I plan on giving my revered guardian sword of the hornet.... so far its been very good

Strenght 5 is more than enough versur 70% units. Not many armies have units with toughnes 5 and more.

Vs 1+ armour save Cav the -4 armour is far more effective. the differnce is saving on 5+ and saving on a 3+

And belive me there are alot of 1+ armour save troops and on 2+ its the differnce between a 6+ save and a 4+.

In the overall effectivness the Burning blade comes way out on top.
In the cool haha I got you factor the Blade of the Hornet is alot of fun.

For heavy cavalary i have my Slann with lore of metal.
And last saturday i killed Blood Thirster with Blade of realities :meh: (maybe i wrote name of this weapon wrong
but im sure u know which weapon in thinking on).
