7th Ed. 2000Pts Tourny List, skink heavy

Hey, last list i put up here faired fairly well in two games, but I have decided to try a list that focuses on skinks, with a little help from their saurus friends.

18 Saurus

champion/standard

10 skink skirmishers

10 skink skirmishers

10 skink skirmishers

5 chameleon skinks

stegadon

2 salamanders

2 razordons
1 extra handler


Comes to 2000pts on the money. Have not used razorons yet and am looking forward to it, am considering dropping a salamander to add another group of skink skirmishers. Any ideas? All would be greatly appreciated.

IMHO, seems like you're missing something. are you going to be okay if something knocks out that only block of your saurus warriors? there is really no immediate treat. other than your 2 stegs and a carno. but i guess that couldn't be bad as well. i know i won a couple of games with just my 2 stegs and carno left on the table. but maybe you could throw in another block of saurus or maybe some kroxigors or something. i just feel like you're missing something.

Hello!

Starting from your characters... Are you sure that 2 characters are worth 865 points? I propably wouldn't run an olbblood with a carno and a skink priest with EotG in the same list for 2000 points, that just seems like a HUGE point sink.

I'd propably take just 2 priests without EotG, and try to make room for some kroxigors, or another block of saurus... Perhaps?

I have considered the characters to be sucking up too many points. I really dont want to lose the old blood on a carno, i think he is great value at 400 odd points. The EOG is a points sucker, but in my playing experience, which i must add has been limited, the ability to cause d6 str4 hits before combat begins is invaluable, especially if combined with a charge from the other stegadon.Almost nothing can hold against this combo (stubborn, and unbreakable units exempt of course).

I do have a question though about the EOG. If I lose the skink priest, does my opponent also receive the points for the stegadon? or are the two seperate when calculating points cost?
