I've had a few games with him in the 2000 and some without both are fun/tactical ways of winning but win ratio with slann is usually higher. Just wanted on what your opinions are or if you run with?

If I dont have a slann I usually fill his slot with my favourite tettoeko .

I love running a Slann because I think magic is fun and the model is my favourite in the Lizardmen range. I usually play at 3000 points though, so I have no trouble fitting him in. Tetto is definitely a great cheap alternative at lower point games. You can't go wrong with him.

I agree. In small games I always go with tettokeo. I absolutely love him, I kill half of the opponent´s army before we even start with chain lightning :D

I've run list with just a skink priest with success.

Tetto is brilliantly overpowered! :D:D Helps make up for all the under-powered special characters we were burdened with... Chakax, Tiktaq'to, Oxyotl, etc.

My favourite lists were always double oldblood with tetto, or a couple of skink priests. It was also quite effective.
That sounds pretty potent... I myself always had trouble leaving the Slann out of a list. I love that frog!

Great Weapon
Armour of Destiny
Dawnstone
OTS

Cowboy.
Cold One
Talisman (4+ ward)
Stubborn Hat
Dragonhelm

What else went with the old bloods ?

Ill get a list for you a bit later.

Those are great builds, though I usually opt for the Crown of Command over the Dawnstone on my Oldblood Cowboy.

I missed that... I was too focused on the general you have listed. My bad.

All good mate , he is designed to be hard to crack. A shield would give him a 1+ but great weapons are awesome.

@Finnboy101 this is an overview of the list, can't find one handy.
Heroes - Scar vet bsb, scroll caddy or tetto, or both
Core - at least one block of saurus with redirectors and blowpipes making the rest of the compulsory
Special - i used to run 6/7 CoC for the cowboy to hide in. Chamelons. I was also trying a Bastiliodon or ripperdactyls.
Rare - sallies and an Ancient Steg with sharpened horns.

I prefer two wizards, even if one is only a level one scroll caddy. Heavens and beasts are both very hand lores for us.
