Heres my 1st attempt at a 2000pt list for c&c

Looks like a good list to me.

- Put the salamander in units of 1. That way, you can cause more panic tests.

The rest of the list is pretty standard and should work pretty well. I personally like to add a Scar-Vet to units of Saurus to give them a little extra punch, but it doesn't seem like it's possible in your current list.

Very solid list. Have you thought about giving the CoC the flaming banner instead of the TG? They make better hydra/HPA/treeman hunters and can more easily avoid things like dragon princes.

hydras, HPA's and treemen will probably roll through COC's before they get a chance to strike

Toss a flesh to stone on them, and remember they can't be thunderstomped. They strike at the same time as Hydra/treeman.

I'd shift the Champion from the Saurus unit to the TG unit, 1 more S5 attack to 16 seems more appealing to me than 1 more S4 on 24...
Solid list, though I prefer more Skirmishers in mine, should do perfectly fine as it is though

Somewhat nitpicking as its only 5 pts, but can gleaming pennant work on a model with the BSB? I though you could never reroll a reroll?

very true, i was thinking of putting it on my TG with BSB slann when i realised this. unless there is something n the table that stops your BSB from granting rerolls, the pennant is rather useless.
