AoS 2000p with Lord Kroak

I was thinking about 2000p list from models that I have and finished with something like that

Lord Kroak 540

Thunderquake Starhost 1100
2 bastiladons
troglodon
3 kroxigors

30 saurus warriors 300
razordon 60

2000p in total.

What you think about that list?

my other models are
Scar veteran on carnosaur
scar veteran on cold one
16 saurus knights
10 temple guards
5 chameleon skinks
3 handlers
 
Looks like a pretty solid and fun list. Good and fun list that packs a punch!
 
I'not so sure about it.
The Thunderquake is perfect but Kroak not so much.
He costs a quarter of the army, can only cast a single cosmic deliverance (due to the faq on the rule of one ) and cannot use the Troglodon as vassal (one of troglodon 's advantages ).

Personally, i would employ Kroak as normal Slann ( to have also the support of the constellation ), freeing 280 pts for that delicious carnosaur as general, buffing it with Order's command trait and artefact.

Also, i suppose that those 30 warriors will be divided into 3 units of 10 each, to cover the battleline requirements.

yeah I've notice yesterday that Kroak is extremely overcosted, especially with three rules of one not allowing him to cast celestial deliverance three times :(

My new idea is
Thunderquake starhost 1020
bastiladon
bastiladon
troglodon
razordon+handlers

slan starmaster 260

and now 2 options
Firelance starhost with scar veteran on carnosaur will fill points up to 1960

or Firelance starhost with scar veteran on cold one will allow me to field 20 saurus warriors

Carno all the way.
Handlers for a single razordon are wasted points.
Can't you field 2 razordons, proxying one model?
 
If you're going for seraphon allegiance then your kbightz are battleline and you should take the Carno. If you want the irder binuses you will likely have to drop the firelance starhost altogether and field maybe a sunclaw.

Hmm having this 40 spare points I can actually proxy engine of the gods instead of troglodon... But having slan I can make better use of troglodon... Which one will be better troglodon or eotg?
 
I tend to go with engine. Troglodon is nice for range, but engine does so much more.
 
not having any units to summon roll of 14-17 will be wasted I guess? unless I can use use slannpower to add 4th dice and pick smallest numbers?
 
That's exactly it. You choose the three dice.
 
I dont rly get the 14-17... I can put ANY of the Seraphon units in the game? Without any point costs for summoning etc?

No for this ability in matched play you must set aside the points. In open play you could theoretically summon lord kroak into the battle. But for matched play any abilty that can summon units needs to have the points available.
 
Yes, but rolling 4 dices and choosing the 3 you want, that shouldn’t be a problem
 
I'll play eotg+Slann+Starseer in a thunderquake. I think i use most of the rerolls for the engine to get the heal or extra round :D
