Im going to run a couple of friendly games at the coming weekend.
Heres the list im going to use, it's basically restricted by what i have painted/glued and there's not too much of the new stuff in it.

Lords: 405
Slann
BSB
Focus of Mystery, Reservoir of Eldritch Energy, Soul of Stone

I really wanted to beef him up a bit more but I saved the points for other Stuff (basically the Skink Chief). Going to try out High Magic which actually looks great on paper imo and I'm going to play around with the lore attribute. I figured Reservoir of Eldritch Energy will give me an extra PD most of the time and comes at much cheaper points then Harmonic and Channeling Staff (though not quite as good obviously)

Heros: 404

Gor-Rok

This guy looks actually pretty decent for his points. I'm going to put him in my Saurus block, hopefully beefing it up with some Wyssan's and HoG to unleash hurt on my opponant. Also I really like the model

Skink Chief
Raptor, Egg of Quango, Charmed Shield, Luckstone, Spear, l.Armor

With this dude I'm basically trying out some of the new stuff they gave us. Hes going to clear some chaff or maybe assassinate some lone character. With WbtW this guy can go anywhere really fast, hopefully bringing him in a position where he can attack what I want him to. The Egg of Quange is a bit of a gamble but it can be devastating. I also gave him SOME surviveabillity. Will be interesting to see what he can do

Skink Priest
lvl 1 Beasts
Scroll

Core: 500

30 Saurus
FC, Spears

I actually prefered HW in the last book unless I fielded a horde. Since im bringing an EotG with the new book, spears look like the obvious choice

10 Skirmishers, Blowpipes
10 Skirmishers, Jav/ Shields

Going to try out both weapon options to see how they compete in comparison. I preferes blowpipes, last book but the 5+ AS, 6+ parry looks pretty tempting

Special: 310

20x Temple Guard
FC

Going to field em side by side with the Saurus, the EotG in between. That should make a solid center. I might to use HM lore attr to swap some spells for light, hoping to roll one of the bubble buffs

Rare: 380

Salamander

I'll put this dude on a flank hopefully roasting a chaff and than set up for some nice flank flaming. Again WbtW is going to be very usefull to get him in position

EotG, Sharpened Horns

Kinda curious to see, how the new engine will do. My plan is to put this guy right between my to combat blocks but might change my mind if my opponant fields some monster or juicy monstrious Inf/Cav for my sharpened horns. Also WbtW can help for some nasty surprise with this one ;)

So, thats my first list. C&C is welcome!

This looks like a solid list overall.

Your Slann is solid, while not too expensive. Gor-rok is indeed solid (although SC aren't my cup of tea).
The skink chief is an interesting project, his 'raptor' is a ripperdactyl I would assume?

Your centre with 2 blocks and an EotG is solid indeed, although your flanks might have a rough time.
I think you'll be having a hard time vs enemy cavalry. Though switching into searing doom helps a lot..

If you could find some points, some more support for your M4 Saurus is never a bad thing. Chameleon skinks or terradons never fail to perform for me. Or maybe 'upgrade' Gorrok to a cowboy scar-veteran.

If you decide to keep it this way, still good. Balanced and potent.

Good luck!

As hunted say, the only big downside I see is that your really don't have much for your Flanks.
Personally I always strive to dominate the chaff war and have plenty of stuff on my flanks, but that is more of playstyle thing.

Your right about me having only a few chaff...

I usually run a Cowboy, but really want to give Gor-Rok a try, simply for funsies. Plan is to put Skirmishers + Skink Chief on one flank, Skirmishers + Sally on the other, having my middle blocks simply march through the middle as fast as possible, swallowing all the shooting.
Tempest on an early turn might help limit shooting and i can swap it for iceshard blizzard which should help aswell and is always useful to have, even in close combat.

Since I don't know what I'll be facing HM will hopefully help me to adjust adequately
