8th Ed. 2000 point list please critique

Hello all, brand new member here. Getting ready for my first Warhammer game this Tuesday, ever. I've been collecting the models for over a year now and its about time to put my investment to use. My first opponent will be running a VC list and is still learning 8th rules. Take a look at my list and let me know where it needs to be tinkered with, and do be gentle I'm still fresh from the pools

Now if my totals are correct that puts me at 1969/2000 so i have some room to add if need be.
So what does you guys think an OK list or is it complete bollocks and I need to start from scratch.

Did you remember to count two groups of suarii at 282 and two groups of salamanders at 80 each?

you might want to give the saurus spears. if you run them 6x4 then you can basically afford 6 deaths before you lsoe attacks, and thats 24 attacks, without spears you only get 18.
