I'm just getting started into Lizardmen and would appreciate any feedback.
I run my ranks 6 wide so thats why everything is divisible by 6 except for the temple guard, the slann takes up 4 spots so only 20 are needed. Any questions about the list let me know.

Slann Mage-Priest (general)
Disciplines: Higher State of Consiousness, Unfathomable Presence, The Focused Rumination
20 Temple Guard: Musician, Standard Bearer

Saurus Scar-Veteran
Light armor, shield, Sword of the Hornet(magic weapon)

10 Skink Skirmishers

18 Saurus Warriors
Musician, Standard Bearer, Spears

18 Saurus Warriors
Musician, Standard Bearer, Spears

6 Cold Ones
Musician, Standard Bearer

Skink Priest
Ancient Stegadon with Engine of the Gods

Total Points: 2002

9 casting dice, 6 dispell dice

Slann w/ temper guard have magic resistance 3
Slann can only be hit by magic attacks

Looks like a good list but i would add a champion in one saurus unit if you have the points if not drop one CoC and get the champ

Other than that a good list

Hope that helps

It IS a nice solid list but there are a few minor things you might wanna consider to propell this list to higher standards!

1) Your offensive magic is pretty decent but Focus of Mystery on your Slann will make him more powerfull

2) You've already got protection for your Slann by the way of the Temple Guard, so you can drop Concousness. And unless your going against an opponent which is VERY strong in magic you should probably drop Precense as well. Normally people only take those if they are running a Slann by itself (which you can't do if your fielding a unit of Temple Guard).

3) Give your Skink Priest the Plaque of Tepok so that he knows four spells instead of just three. You might also consider taking a Dispel Scroll to make sure he doesn't get off that really high casting value spell or to make sure an important casting is shot down.

4) You might try and get a unit of either Chameleons or Terradons. At minimum level they are both cheap units but they will pay for themselves many times over by the end of the game. Terradons are my favorite (and many other people's favorite too) but Chameleons work almost as good at War Machine and lone character hunting as well.
