AoS 200 Points Warband

The local store is running a interesting campaign that I was going to run in and needed some advice.
Basically you start of with 200 points, which you have to buy a leader and whatever else you can afford, then after each game you have a chance to get another 200 points of followers, traits etc, will run for 5-6 weeks with a final army of around 1000pts. So where to spend my 200 Points.

#1 : 10 Warriors, Cold One with Maul
#2 : 10 Warriors, Skink Starpriest
#3: 10 Skinks, Skink Chief and 1 Salamander

I had considered 5 Guard, but think I will need more troops on the ground. I know I'll be up against Stormcasts (5 Libs and Celestant) and Skaven (Monks and Priest)

List 3 doesn't work, the salamander is 60 points putting it at 240. I think I would go list 2.

Ahh, ofc didn't notice.

You think the priest is more useful than the damage of the Oldblood ?

I think having that magic, while not game breaking could make a huge difference. The serpent staff will give extra damage, starlight ups your odds of hitting, mystic shield ups your defense, and arcane bolt might just weaken them enough to roll through them.

Have I been using Starlight wrong? How does it help you hit, I thought it took 1 off hit rolls of units targeting your unit?
