For 1k points seems pretty great. If you're banking on being able to double-tap those bastiladons every turn be ready for some super swingy games. Sometimes Kroak gets you 3 free CP sometimes he gives you none. On those turns where you get to shoot twice your opponent is gonna be hurting. Maybe switch the Balewind for a Bound Burning Head to give your Bastis reroll 1s for all their shooting.

since it is 1000 it could be worth taking a skink priest as your general so they can give +1 to hit each turn without spending a command point, removing 1 bastiladons to add more bodies or other heroes.
or you could remove bale wind and add bound burning head to have the bastliadons preroll 1s to hit
