Hi mates,

This weekend, I'll play some games and we decide to play with 1K list.
We won't use the realms rules but we can use endless spell.

So I would like to know what lists can I play with the model I currently have.

Thank you all for the help, I'm very bad at lists building since I want to put everything but can't and so, I don't know what to play.

Engine of the gods
Slann starmaster
Skink priest
Skink starpriest
Saurus eternity warden
Saurus astrolith bearer
Saurus oldblood on carnosaur
Saurus scar-veteran on cold one
Saurus sunblood
Bastiladon (I can use each type)
Chameleon skinks (x5)
Ripperdactyl riders (x3)
Salamenders
Skinks handlers (x3)
Saurus guard (x15)
Saurus knights (x7)
Saurus warriors (x11)
Skinks (x40)
All the endless spells

Your list could look something like this:

Allegiance: Seraphon

LEADERS:
Slann Starmaster
(260)
- General
- Command Trait : Great Rememberer
Saurus Astrolith Bearer (160)
Skink Starpriest (80)
Engine of the Gods (220)

UNITS:
10 x Skinks (60)
-Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
10 x Skinks (60)
-Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
1 x Salamanders (40)

ENDLESS SPELLS:
Balewind Vortex
(40)
Chronomantic Cogs (60)

980/1000

Turn one you want to get the Balewind Vortext up and have your Skink Starpriest cast Cogs for your Slann as well. This means you won't be getting Summon Starlight off until your second turn and will leave you slightly vulnerable until then. This list has no real firepower on its own, and you will want to be summoning on Skinks and your bigboy dinos asap. Normally I would drop the EotGs in order to have at least one 40 man blob of Skinks and some Razordons. Should your EotGs roll 14-17 on turn 1 then I recommend summoning your Rippers to the field to allow for Bloat Toad placement and to apply pressure on your opponent's more vulnerable heroes or any glass-cannon units they field.

The main weakness of this list is that you are forced to play a reactionary game. It is still probably better than trying to turtle behind an Eternal Starhost though.

I hope this is helpful. Best of luck in your match.

Of course it's helpful ! Thanks for this !
I think that I'll try with this one.
For me, every ideas, advice are helpful. Because, nobody is thinking in the same way, so more opinion = more options ! :D

A really risky list

Allegiance: Seraphon

Leaders
Slann Starmaster (260)
- General
- Trait: Great Rememberer
- Artefact: Incandescent Rectrices
Skink Starpriest (80)
- Artefact: Prism of Amyntok

Battleline
30 x Skinks (180)
- Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
10 x Skinks (60)
- Boltspitters & Star Bucklers

Units
3 x Ripperdactyl Riders (140)

Battalions
Shadowstrike Starhost (180)

Endless Spells
Balewind Vortex (40)
Chronomantic Cogs (60)

Total: 1000 / 1000
Extra Command Points: 1

Use the Slann as a summoning machine, use the rippers to take out threats first turn.

I can try it too.
I think that we'll do more than one match, we are 6 players.
The others play, Sylvaneth, Skaven, Death, Slave to Darkness, Kharadron Overlords and mix Order (essentially old high elves).

So I think that I'll prepare several lists and try to take the one that seems more appropriate for the battle.

I love 1k Shadowstrike. Normally I run mine without a SLann and run a unit of 6 RIppers and 4 Razordons. @Crowsfoot version definitely works too. Against the armies you just listed above I would run Shadowstrike instead of the Summon list I provided. S2D, Sylvaneth, & Skaven are all ideal target for Shadowstrike because they all rely on key units to generate their synergies. You can severely hamstring their army with some well placed Rippers.

I'll keep that in mind :D

There are a few lists in a 1k thread I've made:

This one is by Aginor

Allegiance: Seraphon

Leaders
Skink Starpriest (80)
- general, some artefact to keep him alive
Saurus Astrolith Bearer (160)

Battleline
40 x Skinks (240)
- Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
10 x Skinks (60)
- Boltspitters & Star Bucklers

Units
6 x Terradon Riders (240)
- Sunleech Bolas

Battalions
Shadowstrike Starhost (180)

Endless Spells
Geminids of Uhl-Gysh (40)

Total: 1000 / 1000
Extra Command Points: 1
Allies: 0 / 200
Wounds: 78

Gank enemies with skinks and terradons then kite afterwards. I plan to run a riskier list with rippers instead of terradons and chamos instead of the astro.

Thanks for the list and the link. I read a little this thread, but I wanted to make one with the list of my current model, as I can't buy other for the moment (my wallet really don't want that). So, with this list, all good people can give me some pretty good advice with what I have at my disposition.

For example, the first list you gave me, I can't play it, as I don't have everything.

My bad. Killer Angel did post the teleporting razordons (which you can proxy with your sallies assuming you have 3 or 4) or the teleporting stegadon (which you can proxy with EotG) lists which seem pretty strong.

@LizardWizard Bruh you posted your shadowstrike build and I don't see no razors here don't be lying to my mans kori

LEADERS:
Skink Starpriest
(80)
- General
- Command Trait : Master of Star Rituals
- Artefact : Light of Dracothion

UNITS:
6 x Ripperdactyl Riders (280)
40 x Skinks (180)
-Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
30 x Skinks (240)
-Boltspitters & Star Bucklers

BATTALIONS:
Shadowstrike Starhost (180)
TOTAL: 960/1000

FYI you mixed the points between the 2 units of skinks :p

I only have one sallie ^^

And I don't have any razordon yet. So that's why he can't put any in a list made for me :D

It just depends what people own. This is my favorite 1k list:

UNITS:
4 x Razordons (160)

It is not very beginner friendly. You need a deep knowledge of other armies to be able to wield it effectively. Ideally you will be able to keep your Rippers mobile and on the hunt. I have played more than one 1k game at events where I essentially tabled all my opponent's threats turn one. Most 1k list are not 2 drops and even fewer have the body count to zone you out of the alpha strike.

So I played 2 games yesterday and choose for both games the list that @Crowsfoot tell me.

I loose the first one, it was against a legion of Nagash. And I win the second one against slave to darkness.
I wanted to write down a battle rep, but I forget to take note and I was at a weeding yesterday night, so I don't remember all the details.
But it was fun games !

Is it really worth it go summoning in a 1k shadowstrike?
I don't bother with summoning for 1k Shadowstrike. I find that I am reliably able to kill off my opponents threats turn one.

My experience is more than limited, but I'm pretty sure Shadowstrike is very glass-cannon oriented.
Giving these guys something to defend (the Slann) without being able to, and less 1st turn damage can really clip their wings.

Yes but using Slann in shadowstrike could actually work very well (from my assumptions I’ve never played shadowstrike lol). Because the mortal wounds could chip away at them and also because when they have guys coming from behind them they will divert attention so you won’t need as much protection for them especially if you turtle them.
