Hi guys,

We are still playing a campaign @1K.
After 2 wins (both massacres), i got massacred last game.

When you win, we have ruled, that you cannot change the list.
That way your opponent knows what you will field an can tailor. You'll face a bigger challenge the next round and have to learn to use your list on a different way.

anyway.....because i got my @$$ handed to me last time i fixed my list....
This time i will be playing:

characters: 250 pts.
General:
Scar-Vet
• Sword of striking
• Dawnstone
• Cold-one
• Light armour
• Enchanted shield

Priest:
• Scroll

Core: 272 pts.
2 x 10 skinks skirmishers
• Javelin and Shield

2 x 10 skink cohort
• Muso

Special: 324 pts
2 x 6 chameleon skinks

2 x 3 terradons

Rare: 150 pts.
2 x 1 Sallie

Total 996 pts
units 10 (11 incl. char.)


Bacause i fortified last round i can add another 200 pts.....
I'm thinking of adding 5 COC. This is a unit that can keep up with the rest of the army and can dish out some pain at the same time....

Plzzzzz let me know whatya think?!?!

You don't need the Enchanted Shield -- a mounted Scar Vet with light armor and a mundane shield already has a 1+ armor save.

Your list looks like an avoidance list, but I think even an avoidance list needs some ability to come in an seal the deal in close combat. Right now, your only real combat threat is the Scar Vet (and the Sallies with S5). I think you need a few more high strength attacks (skrox unit?).

about the shield...that's a mistake on my side..... it has te be the shield that gives me a 2++ vs the first hit (canon)

It is an avoidance list. I do not want to be locked in combat any time soon.... or better....never!
Poison and flank/rear changes are my best friend
(with the addition of my COC i've got another unit that can pack a punch...)

I have looked at Skrox units, but the are very expensive @1K..... 24 skinks with 3 kroxes are 285 pts....

Never played with Kroxes.... can someone tell me of they are any good vs Tomb Kings and/or Ogres?
