First time posting a list here.

I am playing a mate with his stormcast in a couple of weeks, he’s running 6x castigators, 5x judicators, vindicator and sequitors, a relictor, a vexillor and a lord celestant.

this is all the models I have this far, any thoughts?

I’m thinking deepstrike with both units of sallies, buff 30skinks with priest and starpriest then deepstrike with LoSaT, 10 skinks to hang around in the rear with bastiladon to keep him from dropping sigmarines behind me, use heal priest to keep bastiladon on full health.

Soften his shooting abilities in first turn (hopefully), then pick off his bossmen with sallies/ bastiladon and deal with his melee with unleash hell and stegatron with curse priest and amulet of destiny for durability.

also this is my first Aos game since aos1.

looking forward to any pointers.

You can't deepstrike without a Slann.

I'd run it as Thunder Lizard. Giving the bastilidon the +1 to-hit buff from the skink priest, and then double shooting can do good work.

Also, unless there is something I'm missing you should have only one triumph.

I do like what you have there, a nice start towards a few different army types.

I've only ever run coalesced armies, so can't really comment on your strategy you laid out.

Thanks for the reply

Can I use LoSaT without a Slann?

hadn’t really considered a TL list, will try both and report.

Maybe run skink chief on stegatron instead of EoT in a TL list then? pretty tanky with Amulet of D.

As others have mentioned you can't use the Dracs Tail ability without a slann, so i'd probably shift over to coalesced thunder lizard. I'd keep the engine, its dope. Other then that, looks like a solid list. Stormcast are tough, seraphon aren't, so try not to get yourself into dangerous positions early. You have a lot of shooting but so does he. His juds and your basti have the same threat range if you don't have run and shoot. If he is scions of the storm he'll probably try to alpha you. Not much you can do about that if he underdrops you, just use terrain to your advantage.

Remember all terrain in your territory counts as mystical for you in coalesced, so that should help a little.

Outside that, specific strategy would rely on the battleplan you're playing.

Yes, LoSaT can be used by any starborne army, with no further requirements.
