soooo trying a new thingy for a 1500 pts tournament

Scar veteran;
light armour, shield
burning blades
dragon helm

3x10 skinks skirmish with blow pipes
2x10 skinks with javalin skirmish ( one unit is 11)
2x sallie with snack
7 chamo skinks

19 TG;
full command
banne rof swiftness
Blood statue of spite

so tactics;
snipe bsb early with death magic,
use blood stattuette on a character when their aint dice left for enemy and soulblight is up
sallies cause panic, while skinks handle fleeing units and chaff

Not a bad list my only worry is the fact you only have one combat block and its only 19 strong.
Are all the skinks skirmishers or some of them cohorts?

yea only one combat block, but with the magic, and the sallies + skinks for redirect, i should be able to face enemies face to face where and when i want them

And I just read skinnyboys ogres battlereport and it looks like alot of poison could whittle them down for you.

Nice list, I'll be interested to hear how you do. Poison in large amounts can definately take a toll.

A fun trick to try out is Aspect of the Dreadknight on a unit of skinks, Doom and Darkness on a unit out of BSB range and charge.

Can be a nice distraction or force some difficult decisions on your opponent in the magic phase

As cool as that might be you'd better have loremaster if you take aspect of the deathknight.
Man that spell is terrible.
