8th Ed. 1500 battle today against chaos any tips for this list?

i am feeling confident with this list i am just not sure it will do the job i need it to do, i wish i had more saurus to replace the Coc i have but no, any thoughts?

Make the spears one unit and use the 30 points you save on command for another item for chars (15 spear Saurus is not enough, you might as well run hw's)

Are, your saurus spears glued? cause if not id suggest taking one lot of 30 with hw shield but even if they have spears i think you would be better with the one group of 30 instead of two of 15.
An old blood set up that smashed my opponents the other day was armour of destiny pirahna blade bane head and shield for 251 points. granted you need to be issuing challenges but you are often looking at over kills for +5 CR on a unit champion and if you bane head the general you can often drop them in one round of combat. (the look on the TK player when i informed him that the 4 wounds id caused were actually 16 was priceless) other than that it seems solid if you have salamanders they can be invaluable with their ability to burn through armour.
What other models do you have

The characters are illegal builds:

The old blood has armour of fortune and enchanted shield, these are both magic armour type therefore only one can be taken

The skink priest has the diadem of power and a dispell scroll, both of these are arcane items so can't be taken together.

Also why the Skaven banner if you are playing chaos?

Actually, what do you mean by Skaven banner???

It you mean the skavenpelt banner, this can only be taken by skinks so CoC can't take it,

If you mean something else, I'm not sure what you mean

i did end up changing the list however i got stomped, i dont feel that saurus cavalry are that effective, with the amount of cav i have i could be running 40 spear saurus and have a few points left over, idk they seem to bring me nothing but misery

At least you learnt something. Seems everyone feels that way about coc.
