8th Ed. 1500 army list

So i am just looking on how to make my list better any ideas always welcomed i normally battle Warriors of Chaos so please let me know if this is a good enough list or what to do to make it that much better.

The slann already has a 4+ ward save so the talisman of preservation does nothing.
the lichebone pennant is terrible as well, as it give the slann a 6+ ward save vs. magic which is useless.
Also, i didnt see BSB by the slann so I'm not sure how he's taking a banner.
Take focussed rumination or cupped hands of the old ones with the slann.

I'm not sure a priest is necessary in this list. (i wouldn't take one as the slann usually can use all the dice on his 6 spells).

I'd beef up that Saurus block.

lose the skink brave, he's almost never worth it.

the steg is fine I suppose...

I'd beef up that temple guard unit. I'd lose the banner though (maybe go with a war banner instead?). I find that the Gold sigil sword is almost as good as the sword of the hornet in almost every situation for 10 points less.

I'd take another salamander (or two) if you want to be competitive.

chameleon skinks are really good right now.

This is a minor tweak but I would probably drop the champion on the saurus and just go with banner and muso, using the spare points for extra handlers on the sallies. What purpose do you have for the champion other than the extra attack?

Challenging a killy character so he dosen't mince a handfull of saurus – removing your steadfast.
