8th Ed. 1200 pts list

1st of all im relativaly new to lizardmen so and constructive critisism would be appreciated !

Lord:
Slann Mage priest - X
Becalming Cogitation- X

Hero:
Skink priest - X

Core:
30 x Saurus Warriors - X
Full command - X

10 x Skink skirmishers - X

Special:
5x chameleons skinks - X

Rare:
Ancient stegadon - X
Engine of the old gods - X

This is just for generic games so isnt tailored to go against a certain army, so any improvements i can make and why would be helpful !

The list is balanced. It's slightly unorthodox to run a Slann in a 1200 point list, but I think this list should do okay. It is missing a BSB though, I would add a BSB in even if you have to drop the Becalming Cognition which I like ALMOST as much as BSBs.

I would favor the Lore of Light on this list which should work well with the Engine of the Gods.

I think i agree with Scalanex here, BSB is even better then the cogitation. Would you run it solo or in the Saurus, or even the Skinks? Do take care that it will be sniped straight out of your unit of Saurus in CC, it will have to be on the front rank then, and the Slann has a massive base. Running a slann in 1.2K is ok, i just don't know where you would put him.
