it fails to cast but you can cast a lesser version of the spell

cast on +16 turn the wizard into a Feral Manticore, Black Hydra or Horned Dragon

I was curious about this as I don't game yet but have a full set of Battle magic cards, it is the spell "Transformation of Kadon" from the Lore of Beasts, cast on +20 causes the wizard to transform into a mountain Chimera or Great Fire Dragon, I want to game NOW!

I'm annoyed at myself, I keep forgetting to stock my Skink Monster model. It's a brilliant custom converted model a hyper-arty friend made on a whim one day out of Kroot heads, a couple of Tyranid bits, and green stuff.

Ye i love this spell!

My opponents face was priceless when the 12 skinks that his hero and knights was going to kill suddenly had 4 d6 str 7 attacks, all the knights got shredded and the hero ran away and was overrun by the priest/chimera!

I used a model of a goreswine because that was the best thing we found, i have no idea how it works in tounament? I guess it depend on who the judge is?

The rules for the all the magic monsters are in the basic rule book in the end where stats for all the armys are found.

My opponent had a black 30x60 mm base and 3 Chaos warriors as a hellcannon + crew so he couldent object to me for using the goreswine as a chimera hehe.
I dont know about the tournament tough...

I guess you would need 5 models, Manticore, , 2 Dragons, Chimera and a Hydra but maybe some could double up and be used for both.

Technically no, it is written in spell. I think it would be pretty ratty to demand from LM player to have all those models only for this one spell. I saw one battle report on YouTube where LM player cast it in last round of game. He did have dragon model bought only for this, he managed to cast it for the first time and did nothing. It was pretty sad :-(

30x60 is a very unusual size. This thread is the only mention I can recall.
