7th Ed. 1000pt Lizards: Little help?

Soooo... I've not played low value WHFB. Not since I started playing, many, many years ago. Small one-day tournament coming up in a few weeks.

I've not even played my Lizards at a value of less than 2250.

So what I'm asking, is that you create me a good 1000pt army from the models I have. I don't mind having to make a small purchase if I need to.

Models I have in my 2250pts:

Slaan (obviously out lol)
Skink Priest on Engine, same Priest on foot.
BSB on Cold One.
2x 12 Saurus
2x 10 Skinks
2x 10 Blowpipes
5 Cold One Cav
Steggy
Salamander
6 Teradons.

I was thinking about taking the Engine, but it's 400pts. lol.

I can't magic and shoot my enemy to death, so I'm at a loss with how to proceed.

What should I field?

Scar Veteran - CO, LA, Enchanted Shield, Burning Blade of Chotec, BSB

10 skirmishers
10 skirmishers

3 Terradons
5 COR - Std

1000 exactly if you want to include an EotG, quite thin at 5 units but hard hitting with some movement contro and hard to milk points out of.l

Hm, that's not too bad.

I'm not sold on the Cold Ones, though. They really don't perform and are actually going to be cut from my army at 2250.

I was thinking something like..

390 - Priest on Engine, Level 2.

140 - 2x10 Blowpipes
50 - 10 Cohorts (redirector)
235 - Steg
180 - 2x3 Teradons.

But that's probably OTT.

my list idea:

1 saurus scar-vet w/ light armour, shield and hornet sword-118

15 saurus w/ spears+FC-210

2*10 skirmishers-140

3 terradons-90

1 stegagon-235

1 salamander (extra handler)-80

that leaves you with about 100 points. If you didn't want to use a terradon i would reccomed a level 2 skink priest and give your srav vet the jaguar pendant and GW for chariot/war machine/ cavalry pwnage.
