7th Ed. 1000pt Friendly, looking for comments

So my buddy plays as skaven and this is what I came up with for a 1k army against him in a friendly game


Skink Skirmishers x10

Skink Skirmishers x10

Saurus Warriors x18 (Stand Bearer, Musician, Spears)

Saurus Warriors x17 (Stand Bearer, Musician, Spears)

Saurus Scar-Vet with Light armor, Shield and Sword of Battle (General and attached to above saurus)

Salamander Hunting packs x2 with 6 handlers

Skink Priest lvl2 with cloak of feathers and plaque of tepok

TOTAL = 999

I am debating dropping a salamander and the plaque for another priest with a scroll, but in our smaller games the salamander was invaluable against the skaven masses, so I figured of course 2 would be better than 1 I will prob end up bringing both lists, and playtesting. But if anyone else has and advice I wouldn't mind hearing it.

I was thinking about terradons but that would be an added cost as I have all the above - 1 salamander. And I only have one terradon so far.

Depending on how heavily you are going to be using the skinks you might want to consider a BSB. Besides, having another Scar-Vet in an army can be worth it. Especially against Skaven where magic isn't as much of an issue.

Keep in mind I'm relatively new to the crew, so take this advice with a pinch of salt.
