Hello wanderer glad you could join.
I am still tweaking the campaign list I will use to crush my mates in the glory of the old ones. (There is no special rules in this campaign limiting the list building, but it will slowly progress to higher numbers. First it was just skinks, but after seeing the gaping holes of weakness I desided for the Saurus block with an Oldblood.
Without further ado, heres the list. Tear it apart!
Lords 179p
Saurus Oldblood; General.
Light Armour, Sword of Swift Slaying, Enchanted Shield, Potion of Speed. - 1+ Armour Save.
-----
Heroes 221p
Skink Priest lvl 2.
Dispel Scroll. (Havn't desided lore yet.)
Skink Chief on Ripperdactyl.
Dragonhelm, Light Armour, Shield, Spear. - 2+ Armour Save.
------
Core 277o
Saurus Warriors 17. - Standard and Spawn Leader.
HW/S. 6x3 formation to start. While being flexible by terrain.
Skink Skirmishers 10.
Lustrian Javelin & Shield
-----
Special
Bastiladon - Solar Engine
------
Rare
Salamander. Extra handler
Salamander. Extra handler
Total 1000p.
Aslong I'm not screwed by dawn attack I got my deployment figured out, aslong as I don't have to react big time on my opponent.
Oldblood in the block. Skink Chief probably behind the block or beside it, regardless, within the leadership bubble. - Beside the Skinks with the Priest.
Bastiladon beside the block and depending on my opponent either one salamander on each flank or both on one.
Since I am coming from the two Undead armies leadership is quite new to me so I hope I havn't crippled myself by not spreading out.
The block got punch, the skinks might do something usefull, the chief warmachine/wizard hunt while the Bastiladon buffs and shoot while the Salamanders burn the blocks.
It feels like I got a pretty wellrounded list but feel free to make some changes.
(I was thinking about dropping the Dispel Scroll and Bastiladon to get me 5 Cold Ones with Spears but I don't really know.)
Anyway cheers for reading mates.
