8th Ed. 1000 Tourney list-Need help !

So...is this army legal ? What i could change ? Im going against VC,O&G,WoC,TK,HE and WE. This is my first tournament and i NEED help.

The list is legal by the looks of things, but I would make a change or two.

Drop the stegadon for another unit of Saurus. Big blocks of infantry are a great points denial and in lower points brackets Saurus are worth their weight in gold.

Personally I dont use an Oldblood in 1k anymore. I used to, but a Scar vet is just as good and cheaper (allowing for more saurus!) But it is a good way to squeeze in a character in the lord bracket to allow for more in the hero's department

A lone BSB on a terradon is a dangerous thing indeed, and against some of the armies you're facing (HE's WE's and TK) he will draw a lot of fire. I would swap him for a Scar vet and place him in that second unit you could afford if you drop the stegadon

That's just my opinion, the list as it is look alright, but again the stegadon is a huge point sink at 1k.

That looks a lot better, your bsb should stay around a lot longer!

Have you thought of running them 5 wide to gain more rank bonus'? If so, take 1 from the unit of 21 into the smaller one, that way you have a unit of 21 (including the OB) and 20 (including the Scar vet) and run them 5 wide.

Remember for things like elves running 7 wide is fine, the small bases mean you will always get use of those extra guys on the side, with Saurus being on the bigger bases, sometimes you might find you have a man on the end flapping at nothing. Thats the one of the downsides with running 7 wide.

The list now looks a lot stronger. Hope you get on well, post with how you get on

gosh,i forgot that the tournament is tomorrow,im not going to get more saurus warriors oh well,i made new list:

2x 17 Saurus - Spear , Banner , Musician
