so i've gotten the idea of the rules changes in 8th edition, and im itching to play a battle! i will play against Empire very soon, and brettonnians next weekend.

7 Chameleon Skinks

Chameleons kill warmachines, archers if there are no warmachines. saurus w/ oldblood go after toughest enemy unit, maybe with help of stegadon? dont know what to do with him. other saurus wreak havoc in weaker units. Priest either enhances saurus or shoots lightning from his fingers i guess. is the skink priest is worth bringing, or is a battle standard a better alternative?

i won against the empire guy, and i had replaced the spears with the plaque of tepok. my saurus got cremed by his knights though...

I'm not sure what to do with magic at this level to be honest. Heavens is such a lame lore that I wouldn't normally bother with a skink magician, but it looks a bit too risky to turn up without any wizards at all, esp with spells like pit of shades and purple sun of xereus out there.

On the other hand I really don't think you need a BSB at this points level, sure he's useful, but you can't have everything at 1K (well, unless you're a goblin or skaven)
