I need some help filling in the last points of my army list:

Skink Priest - Level 2 Mage, HW - 100 pts
--> No magic items yet, I'm trying out to figure out what to do now remember :p.
Scar Vet - HW, Shield, LA - 93 pts
--> No magic items yet, I'm trying out to figure out what to do now remember :p.

19 Saurus Warriors - HW, Shield, Spears, Full Command - 258 pts

10 Skink Skirmishers - 70 pts

6 Saurus Cold One Cavalry - 210 pts

10 Temple Guards - 160 pts

Which leaves me 109 pts to spend on some magic items and other units. The models above are stuff I currently own and plan on using. Can't spend over 47 pts in magic items, can spend the points in core, special or rare, it doesn't matter. Help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Alright lets see what we can do for you here.

I'd start with picking up some Terradons for war machine hunters.
-Drop the champion on the Saurus unit. 12pts
-Drop one of your Saurus Cavalry. 35pts
-extra 47 points you already had.
Gives you 3 Terradons and 4 points

Next I'd personally take 2 salamanders over an elite infantry unit like Temple Guard.
-Frees up 10 points.
(Now this is where you decided about your magic items) Currently at 14 points to spend
Our characters without items are still viable esp at 1,000 points.
Depending on what you're looking to take magic item related
(you can only really take about 50 to keep your total chatacters points under 250)
-Opt to drop spears for an extra 20 points
-Opt to drop skirmishing on skinks for 20 points

this will give you the basic max to use in magic items if you wish, or to keep some abilities on your troops.
Totally up to you based on your play style and preferences.

Hope these comments helped.

I've been thinking of either adding a terradon unit or a salamander unit. I could also add another unit of skirmishers or beef up my SCoC unit. Anyone's thought on this? What are the pros and cons of each choice?
