Fiction July-August 2026 Short Story Contest (entries close August 9th)

I will be busy on August 5th. I have extended the deadline to August 8th. Maybe that will give last minute writers a bit more time.

I'm really sorry. I wanted to, but i was not able to find the time to write anything. And a lot of serious real life problems were also in my way, so... :(

I'm going to delay the start one more day to buy time for someone with a half-finished piece, a certain slow writer I know quite well.

I'm rationalizing it because I figure you'd rather have one more story than punctuality.
