"True Q" was one of the weaker episodes in my opinion.
There are other Q episodes that I like a lot more than this one.

What did you think of the Star Trek Voyager episode called "Death Wish"? While I think the Voyager Q episodes are weaker on the whole, this one was pretty good. Not as good as the very best of TNG, but it tackled an interesting idea.

I don't recall which episode that is, my knowledge of Voyager is less than encyclopedic. I missed a few episodes of Voyager here and there (I probably saw four out of five Voyager episodes and I might have missed a Q episode), and all the Q episodes meshed together in my brain.

I did not like the plot point of Q asking Janeway to carry his baby. That is so grossly inappropriate it doesn't feel like Star Trek. Besides being sexist and gross, it makes no logical sense. Q has access to TRILLIONS of females across the galaxy, there is no reason to fixate on Captain Janeway. That's assume Q needs a female, Q could theoretically have a baby with a male.

Even if you take the creepy stalker stuff out, Q on Voyager still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's just rubbing salt in a wound that every crewman on the Voyager knows that Q can solve their problem but chooses not to. The crew has enough problems without dealing with Q's petty bullshit. Again, Q has access to trillions of people he could be talking to who aren't on Voyager. Somewhere in the galaxy, there must be some lonely person who would like having Q around.

It's a good one. Best of the Voyager Q episodes.

That does seem like a very Q thing to do. He guides and manipulates. His interference can be helpful, but not in a direct sense. He doesn't solve the problem for you, but rather puts you into a situation where you might be better equipped to solve it yourself.
