I will have to put this show on my watch list. As a kid I wanted to be an "inventor" so this makes way more sense.

I had limited tv time, and limited channels. Granma had Cartoon network

One of my earliest memories was being taken to a house in a warm climate (had to be holidays) and they had a ninja turtles zepellin. That stick to my mine and always wanted one, was just a few minutes I was probably 5 or 6.

I think the show will come off as being pretty dated by today's standard. The first movie is pretty cool though.

I was nodding in approval until the last one. Everyone else is roughly equivalent between their Gargoyles and TMNT rolls. The last one is a HIDEOUS and inappropriate Demona.

BeBop is a loser and doesn't direct events. I don't think TMNT has a female villainous mastermind that is half as dangerous as Demona.

While true, I think you may be looking too deeply into this one. The choice was made purely because they needed a villain for her. Shredder was already taken and you can't exactly turn her into a convincing Krang. But yes, in terms of characterization, the Demona selection is off.

And for the record, she is depicted as Rocksteady, not Bebop. That said, Rocksteady is equally a loser who doesn't direct events, so your criticism still holds.

That old TMNT show doesn't have any villains (regardless of gender) as dangerous or masterful as Demona. If we are being fair, the original TMNT show is pretty goofy and all the villains are kind of losers.

Late to the party on this discussion but I've always been a Raphael fan. In my defense I'm coming from a comic book stance and he was more interesting in those. The original cartoon was ok at first but I lost interest after the first season due to the character assassination of the Shredder, he is not a cowardly idiot. I've also only seen the first movie so I can't speak on those either.
