It's still a great season, a really great season. Just one scene that feels a little out of place. On the flip side, it introduces one of my two favourite characters in the entire series. Seasons 3 and 4 are well worth the watch.

It can't ruin it because it is so bad that I don't even consider it as canon. Just like Disney Star Wars is so shit, that it can't ruin the OT. They exist in different realms, one being a poorly produced fan-fiction of the other.

Plus, Nocturne takes place significantly later on, so we're dealing with a different cast of characters (boring characters, but I digress).

Incredibly thankful I never got around to watching it then.

Pity, as I liked Richter in the game, but eh, no skin off my back.

Put it this way, I wish I could unsee it. Luckily it isn't very memorable, so it's slowly fading away. A complete waste of time and an insult to the original.



Back on the thread topic. How are the entries coming along? How many are we up to now?
 
So I'm guessing that we'll be looking at somewhere around 4-5 entries when all things are said and done. Praise Hashut!

I am on the fence whether to give an exact count or to play coy. I usually release the "Number of the Day" on the contest thread before I start editing the voting thread.

I will say we are par for the course for the usual pacing. Usually, there's at least a couple early eager beavers who write a short story submission within the first week or so, and a last minute batch of entries in the last few days before the deadline, with very few entries in between in the middle period (usually zero).

And we have zero middle tier entries. Even when we had peak entries (fifteen), think we only got three entries during the middle of the month. I'll be happy if I get one.

That was before we lost a lot of members from the GW transition from 8th edition to Age of Sigmar. And that was when we had Bob. Bob was the best hype man you could ask for on the Fluff Forum.

Well friends, I'm only a few posts off of 90k so I thought I'd take the opportunity to wish you well in the contest. I'll be on my post Slann ascension hiatus and won't be posting on the forum for awhile. However, I will be reading each and every entry and will submit my vote. Enjoy the peace and quiet.
