What are you doing today hobbywise?

Today, I am starting to plot out a map of a reasonable sized landmass, and that map shall be the local hobbyist scene's personal playground within Age of Sigmar; so that we can feel an actual connection to our scene, rather than GeeDubs insisting we feel connected to the vague poorly mapped location that is suffering the plot's threat of the day.

And having a map plotted out will allow for us to have organic stories told between battles, for those of us who care for narrative campaigns.

And of course, nothing says that we have to actually use Age of Sigmar's rules... nothing saying we can't use OPR, or KoW, or WFB/ToW, or whatever other ruleset we might feel like experimenting with/take a liking to, in order to depict mass formation battles rather than skirmishes.

Not a project of mine, 3 guys wanted to play a clash of a coalition imperium+Tau vs chaos, and they asked me to joint them, plan a scenario and host the event.
So i'm gonna be the second chaos player with my knights.

You could have fielded Necrons or Tyranids against the other alliances to add more Xenos action :cool:
 
I was in The Hague with the wife and kids. I used to study there and knew where the GW store is. So a quick stroll through that particular street resulted in a stop at the store and our three kids picking up a model to finish painting at home. Sadly it was a Stormcast dude.l, but hey it is hobby engagement ;)

Not as good as some Seraphon, but nothing wrong with that at all. We all like different things and that's what makes the hobby fun. More armies and more variety is a good thing.
 
I'm going to assemble an Araknae Quad Accelerator Platform, directly from the HH saturnine box
