I can see the merits of both, i genuinely cannot see a "winner", as they both marked an era and infuenced our modern culture.

If you ever played the West End publishing Star War RPGs, that's how we usually played. Maximize your character's Strength attribute (because that what resists damage) and as soon as you have the best armor money can buy. Don't even bother dodging.

Oh it's long out of print and it wasn't super popular when it was in print, but I'm certain a lot of the season 1 and season 2 Mandalorian writers/directors played it.

Funnily enough, I have the same view about both... the prequel trilogies are my favourites, purely by coincidence

But I still openly like the original Lord of the Rings trilogy, whereas I'm pretty indifferent to the Star Wars Original Trilogy, so Middle-Earth would probably take it for me.
