The never-ending battle against woke Hollywood and SJW infused entertainment media [trigger warning]

Though I've never played an Assassin's Creed game and probably never will, I had to laugh at this:

The wokists have finally got bored with blackwashing white people and white history, and have moved onto Orientals as their next target. Their agenda isn't even about pursuing petty vengeance against white people anymore... they just want to blackwash the world.

All this is proof that they're simply black supremacists that have never had any intention of seeking true equality... as we've known all along. They're becoming ever more incapable of hiding their true colours.

Hahaha... I saw this earlier. Another game I have zero interest in.

It's no surprise really, the US university system as been bias against Asians for quite some time now. The pattern was there, this is just a new medium, one that is far more visible.

I do not play computer games much anymore, and when I do I buy old games at rock bottom prices. so I don't have much of a stake in this, but arguably the first sign of the Culture War shifting directions seems to be in computer gaming.

Relative to movies and TV, gaming companies do not have extra deep pockets to absorb losses from Get Broke, Go Broke.

I've seen a few videos with quotes from Sweet Baby Inc employees saying their goal is essentially to burn the video game industry to the ground.

I'm not sure if this is the top down view or just a few mavericks, if it's not top down the people at the top aren't bothering to correct the problem.

If this is true, they are really bad at tactics. They can kill corporations one Ubisoft at a time, but there are lots of gaming companies and the barrier to entry into the industry is fairly low. Assuming their end goal was reasonable, this strategy has no chance to succeed.

They will fail. The video game industry is huge, way bigger than the movie industry. Plus it is diversified across so many game studios in so many countries. If they infect Ubisoft, I'll just buy games made by FromSoftware (in truth, regardless of what Ubisoft does, I'll buy from FromSoftware because they are awesome). If games out of the USA become woke, just get games out of Japan or somewhere else. Many of these places are beyond the tendrils of the woke mob.

Plus gamers are typically smarter than the Movie/TV crowd. They won't stand for it and will simply play something else. Woke movies flop, but woke games flop hard! I think Concord lost Sony about $400 million dollars and was essentially dead within two weeks.

Certain groups are just less willing to put up with woke bullshit. For instance, the LOTR crowd was far more unanimous and quick in their backlash of The Rings of Power than MCU (or Star Wars or Star Trek, etc.) fans when their franchise went to shit.

You are correct, that LOTR fans have less tolerance for BS. I believe that woke is not the only danger. I believe if you took the wokeness out of Rings of Power, it would be still be bad.

I've seen a few videos dissect all the many flaws I would say at once one out of three or one out of four of the flaws are woke related. Bad dialogue, bad pacing, bad characterization, bad fight scene cinematography, bad costumes, hack reveals, and unclear stakes are all unwoke related.
