John Astin played Gomez Addams in the 1960s version of the Addams. He reprised his role in a cameo in the 1970s on Scooby Doo. He voiced Gomez Addams on multi season Addams Family animated series in the 1990s.

John Astin was a great actor. Only a small number of actors get to play a character in live action and then transition to an animated series with the same character. But is it possible for a cartoon voice actor to transition to a live action version of the same character?

Katara was the world's second blood bender. She was the first southern tribe healer in living memory. What is not as well known is that she was also the first non-Avatar water bender to master the art of delivering savage burns.

His grandchild runs Cabbage Corp, making him one of the richest people in Republic City. True Cabbage Corp is not as rich and powerful as Sato Industries or Verrick Industries, but it's no slouch.

So he is the biggest badass in the Avatar universe if he could become rich and successful despite all the setbacks.

He taught his heirs to always buy insurance.

I thought the live action reboot of Avatar was really good the first time I watched through it.

The second time I watched through it, the many flaws became more obvious.

I guess I'm just happy that there was a good faith effort.
