GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

More rumors on Dakka Dakka say that BoC will become a full TOW army

As others have said, Beastmen are already one of the Core factions, so what do you mean by this? That they're being dropped from AoS and moved over to TOW?

and Chorfs will come in 4th Edition.

There have been rumours about them in the pipeline for a while. Here's hoping for some plastic Dawi-Zharr (in an amalgamation of the two Fantasy aesthetics of course)!

Seems increasingly likely... unless GW wants to come through and pleasantly surprise me with some Wood Elves!

It's a possibility that they could throw us a curve ball, especially as GW have been so good at missing product opportunities in the past (though it'll make me wonder why the Dwarf dice were teased so long ago if it's not them), but as long as the faction isn't Empire I'm not bothered (and even if it is Empire, one of my main gaming pals is a big Empire fan so I'll be happy that he'll be happy).

I mean, they already are? Just a matter of giving them square bases, really.
Full as in no cross compatibility. This came from the guy who has the cleanest record of leaks so who knows.

More leaks, speaking of:

A Wood Elves reveal at this point is an extreme longshot. I can see it being Dwarfs or Empire. That would make most sense.

...the sad thing is, I could see GW dropping Beasts as a separate army for Chaos, dropping them back into The Old World, and just allocating some of the units into the other Chaos armies (likely Slaves to Darkness).

New army leak for 40K also seems to be Imperial Agents/Adeptus Arbeetees. Boo!
That doesn't really work as an independent faction in 40K. Adeptus arbites are basicly just imperial guard. How the hell would you turn that into a fullfledged army?

Are you sure it's not for killteam or something?

They already appeared in Kill Team a while back (against Dark Eldar), so if they are coming as @Cristhian MLR thinks, they'll likely be an army somehow.

But then I've not noticed any clues relating to Arbites... the only leads I've seen relate to Chaos Space Marines for some reason.

There's already a Codex leak:

They get not one but TWO Battleforces to celebrate the new Lords. One on each box.

Jump Lord has kitty paws, doesn't he? :D

Also, on X, they released the new Combat Patrol for CSM:

So, this article here will tell you more in detail about the 4E wide points, but:
  • Major ruleset rewrite. Battletomes will no longer be valid at the start of the Edition:
This new edition is absolutely still the Warhammer Age of Sigmar that you all know and love, with all the friction taken out – cleanly and smartly. It has the tactical and strategic nuance of the previous editions, driven by a real desire for the background to show through on the tabletop.

On top of all that, there are modular rules, plenty more opportunities for reactivity in your opponent’s turn via an updated system of command points and abilities, and a ton of tweaks and refinements – not least to the double turn, which has been fine-tuned into a knife-edge decision with a clever twist to scoring. Put simply, it is the best edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar yet
  • Those new Spearhead boxes we seen pop off recently? Those are basically the new Combat Patrol mode from 40K for us. Wish them good luck for an actually "balanced" game mode.
