Am I the only one deriving such intense feelings of joy from the absolute failure of The Marvels?
Yes?
I've reached a sort of "indifference" state of mind.
Probably.
You guys don't know what you're missing!
Life is good!
Agreed. The MCU is dead, but I'm sure all these other companies see its very painful financial demise. If the MCU (the most financially successful movie franchise of all time) can fail, so can anyone else.I'm really glad it fails for a number of related reasons and (hopefully) consequences for the world of cinema, but at this point the fate of MCU is no more a thing i care for.
And then there is always the pure unadulterated enjoyment of revenge!
Easily predictable for us... yes. Easily predictable for others (including others on this forum)... definitely not. I've engaged in enough debates to know better. But I do not feel a need to celebrate being right, particularly when the thing I'm right about is only slightly less predictable than the sun rising in the East and setting in the West.
The thing about commonsense is that it isn't all that common!
