It is time to say some RANDOM THINGS


Mashable, the website, is detestable.


Damascus, the city, has been named some variation of DMSHQS ( <= those same consonants) for at least 3000 years. Same name, morphed through a dozen languages, for all that time. It may be the oldest still inhabited place in the world.
 
It is time to say a RANDOM THING


“Gatorade FROST Glacier Cherry” tastes like none of those four things. It does taste quite strange, let it be noted.

The entire Levant and Mesopotamian River Valley has such a vast amount of human history encased within its expanse. I firmly believe that a thousand archaeologists could study the area for a century and barely scratch the surface.

I love reading the history of various cultures and places around the world, but the more I read the more I realize that I will never be able to study ALL of it, even if I were to focus on just one part of one city. There is just too much to learn.
